Altınkum Dental

Altınkum Dental is an oral and dental health polyclinic located in Didim, Aydın, bringing together dentists with different areas of clinical focus within the same healthcare setting.

Our Dental Team

The dentists at Altınkum Dental bring together their education and clinical experience in different areas of dentistry within a coordinated treatment-planning approach.

Dentist Abdulkadir Aslan, MSc focuses his clinical practice on dental implantology, advanced implant surgery, rehabilitation of patients with severe bone loss, zygomatic and pterygoid implants, and complex full-arch implant treatments.

Dentist Mehmet Ali Ceyhan works in implantology and implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation, as well as aesthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and fixed and removable prosthetic treatments.

Dentist Recep Fıstık focuses particularly on root canal treatments, restorative dentistry, implant-supported restorations and fixed prosthetic treatments.

Dentist Halil Dede is involved in implant-supported fixed prosthetic rehabilitation for fully edentulous patients, removable prostheses, endodontic and restorative treatments, as well as temporomandibular joint assessment, occlusal splint therapy, bruxism and full-mouth rehabilitation planning.

Advanced Implantology and Full-Arch Rehabilitation

One of Altınkum Dental’s principal clinical areas is dental implantology and implant-supported rehabilitation.

From a single missing tooth to multiple tooth loss and complete edentulism, the patient’s existing bone structure, soft tissues, remaining teeth and planned prosthetic restoration are evaluated together.

In certain complex cases involving severe bone loss, treatment options may include, depending on the patient’s anatomical and clinical circumstances, zygomatic implants, pterygoid implants, All-on-4, All-on-6 and other full-arch rehabilitation approaches, in addition to conventional implant options.

In these treatments, planning is not limited to the surgical placement of implants. The requirements of the final prosthetic rehabilitation are also considered from the beginning of the treatment process. The number of implants, surgical approach and prosthetic plan are determined individually according to the patient’s clinical condition.

Implant-Supported Prosthetic Treatments

An important stage of dental implant treatment is planning the restorations that will be supported by the implants.

For implant-supported fixed restorations, implant position, surrounding soft tissues, adjacent and opposing teeth, occlusal relationships and the patient’s functional requirements are evaluated together.

Depending on the clinical situation, treatment options may range from single-tooth implant restorations to the rehabilitation of multiple missing teeth and, in suitable cases, more comprehensive full-arch implant-supported prosthetic treatments.

A more comprehensive assessment may be considered in patients with bruxism, tooth clenching or grinding, advanced tooth wear, loss of vertical dimension, occlusal irregularities or certain conditions associated with the temporomandibular joint.

Depending on the patient’s clinical findings, occlusal splint therapy or restorative and prosthetic rehabilitation involving multiple teeth may be considered.

Tooth Wear and Full-Mouth Rehabilitation

Advanced tooth wear or long-term tooth loss may require assessment of the functional relationship between the jaws, occlusion and vertical dimension.

In such complex cases, full-mouth rehabilitation may be considered as a comprehensive treatment-planning process involving the condition of the remaining teeth, periodontal and supporting tissues, masticatory muscles, temporomandibular joints, occlusion and the relationship between planned restorations.

The appropriate restorative or prosthetic treatment methods are determined according to the patient’s individual clinical requirements following a comprehensive assessment.

Aesthetic Dentistry

Treatment planning in aesthetic dentistry is not limited to changing tooth colour or appearance.

Tooth form, remaining dental tissues, periodontal health, the relationship between the face and smile, occlusion and masticatory function are evaluated together.

Depending on the patient’s oral condition and treatment needs, aesthetic fillings, restorative procedures, crowns and bridges or other prosthetic treatment options may be considered.
