Altinkum Dental Aydın,Didim

Altınkum Dental is an oral and dental health polyclinic located in Didim, Aydın, bringing together dentists with different areas of clinical focus within the same healthcare setting.

At our clinic, treatment planning is not limited to addressing an existing dental problem. The patient’s dental and periodontal health, bone structure, masticatory function, occlusion, aesthetic expectations and long-term oral health are evaluated together.

Altınkum Dental’s clinical areas include dental implantology, advanced implant surgery, full-arch implant rehabilitation, implant-supported prosthetic treatments, fixed and removable prostheses, aesthetic and restorative dentistry, root canal treatments, occlusal assessment, bruxism and comprehensive oral rehabilitation.

When a patient’s treatment needs involve more than one area of dentistry, surgical, restorative, endodontic and prosthetic procedures may be considered not as separate treatments, but as complementary stages of the same treatment plan.

Our Dental Team

The dentists at Altınkum Dental bring together their education and clinical experience in different areas of dentistry within a coordinated treatment-planning approach.

Dentist Abdulkadir Aslan, MSc focuses his clinical practice on dental implantology, advanced implant surgery, rehabilitation of patients with severe bone loss, zygomatic and pterygoid implants, and complex full-arch implant treatments.

Dentist Mehmet Ali Ceyhan works in implantology and implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation, as well as aesthetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and fixed and removable prosthetic treatments.

Dentist Recep Fıstık focuses particularly on root canal treatments, restorative dentistry, implant-supported restorations and fixed prosthetic treatments.

Dentist Halil Dede is involved in implant-supported fixed prosthetic rehabilitation for fully edentulous patients, removable prostheses, endodontic and restorative treatments, as well as temporomandibular joint assessment, occlusal splint therapy, bruxism and full-mouth rehabilitation planning.

Dentist Mustafa Yıldız focuses on occlusion, comprehensive restorative treatment planning, function-oriented dentistry and restorative approaches that aim to preserve existing healthy dental tissues whenever clinically appropriate.

This multidisciplinary structure allows different clinical perspectives to be considered within the same treatment process when a patient’s needs require a broader approach.

Advanced Implantology and Full-Arch Rehabilitation

One of Altınkum Dental’s principal clinical areas is dental implantology and implant-supported rehabilitation.

From a single missing tooth to multiple tooth loss and complete edentulism, the patient’s existing bone structure, soft tissues, remaining teeth and planned prosthetic restoration are evaluated together.

In certain complex cases involving severe bone loss, treatment options may include, depending on the patient’s anatomical and clinical circumstances, zygomatic implants, pterygoid implants, All-on-4, All-on-6 and other full-arch rehabilitation approaches, in addition to conventional implant options.

In these treatments, planning is not limited to the surgical placement of implants. The requirements of the final prosthetic rehabilitation are also considered from the beginning of the treatment process. The number of implants, surgical approach and prosthetic plan are determined individually according to the patient’s clinical condition.

Implant-Supported Prosthetic Treatments

An important stage of dental implant treatment is planning the restorations that will be supported by the implants.

For implant-supported fixed restorations, implant position, surrounding soft tissues, adjacent and opposing teeth, occlusal relationships and the patient’s functional requirements are evaluated together.

Depending on the clinical situation, treatment options may range from single-tooth implant restorations to the rehabilitation of multiple missing teeth and, in suitable cases, more comprehensive full-arch implant-supported prosthetic treatments.

Prosthetic and Restorative Dentistry

Different prosthetic and restorative treatment options may be considered in cases involving missing teeth, significant loss of dental structure, replacement of existing restorations or the need to restore oral function.

Depending on the patient’s clinical requirements, treatment options at Altınkum Dental may include:

  • Implant-supported fixed restorations
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Fixed prosthetic rehabilitation
  • Removable prostheses
  • Aesthetic restorations
  • Dental fillings
  • Rehabilitation of tooth wear
  • Comprehensive restorative treatment planning

Restorative and prosthetic planning considers not only aesthetic appearance but also preservation of healthy dental tissues, masticatory function, occlusion, periodontal health and the relationship of restorations with surrounding tissues.

Root Canal Treatment and Preservation of Natural Teeth

Preserving natural teeth whenever clinically appropriate is an important part of treatment planning.

Where the dental pulp is affected by deep caries, infection or trauma, root canal treatment may be considered.

For teeth that have previously undergone root canal treatment but require further treatment, endodontic retreatment may be planned following clinical and radiological assessment.

After endodontic treatment, the remaining tooth structure, functional load and restorative requirements are evaluated to determine whether a filling, crown or another restorative or prosthetic option may be appropriate.

Occlusion, Bruxism and the Masticatory System

Assessment of oral health involves more than examining individual teeth. The relationship between the upper and lower teeth, the masticatory muscles and the function of the temporomandibular joints may also be relevant.

A more comprehensive assessment may be considered in patients with bruxism, tooth clenching or grinding, advanced tooth wear, loss of vertical dimension, occlusal irregularities or certain conditions associated with the temporomandibular joint.

Depending on the patient’s clinical findings, occlusal splint therapy or restorative and prosthetic rehabilitation involving multiple teeth may be considered.

Tooth Wear and Full-Mouth Rehabilitation

Advanced tooth wear or long-term tooth loss may require assessment of the functional relationship between the jaws, occlusion and vertical dimension.

In such complex cases, full-mouth rehabilitation may be considered as a comprehensive treatment-planning process involving the condition of the remaining teeth, periodontal and supporting tissues, masticatory muscles, temporomandibular joints, occlusion and the relationship between planned restorations.

The appropriate restorative or prosthetic treatment methods are determined according to the patient’s individual clinical requirements following a comprehensive assessment.

Aesthetic Dentistry

Treatment planning in aesthetic dentistry is not limited to changing tooth colour or appearance.

Tooth form, remaining dental tissues, periodontal health, the relationship between the face and smile, occlusion and masticatory function are evaluated together.

Depending on the patient’s oral condition and treatment needs, aesthetic fillings, restorative procedures, crowns and bridges or other prosthetic treatment options may be considered.

Modern Dentistry in Didim

Altınkum Dental in Didim, Aydın provides oral and dental health assessment and treatment planning for patients living in the region, as well as for patients visiting from other parts of Türkiye and from abroad.

Depending on clinical requirements, radiographic imaging, digital assessment, digital impressions and contemporary dental technologies may be used during examination and treatment planning.

Diagnostic and treatment methods are not applied as a standard protocol for every patient; they are selected according to the individual clinical condition and treatment requirements.

Our Treatment Approach

At Altınkum Dental, the treatment process generally follows the stages of detailed examination, necessary imaging, diagnosis and clinical assessment, individual treatment planning, treatment, follow-up and monitoring.

Every patient has a different oral structure, dental condition, periodontal status, bone anatomy and treatment requirement. For this reason, the same treatment method may not be appropriate for every patient, and available options are evaluated according to individual clinical circumstances.

Before treatment, importance is placed on explaining the available methods, stages of treatment and appropriate alternatives to the patient in a clear and understandable manner.

Our aim is not only to address the current dental concern, but to develop an individual treatment approach that considers function, biological requirements, aesthetic expectations and long-term oral health together.

Our Vision

Our vision is to develop a sustainable clinical structure in Didim that brings together the surgical, prosthetic, endodontic, restorative and functional approaches of modern dentistry, follows scientific developments and contemporary dental technologies, and places patient confidence and appropriate treatment planning at the centre of care.

Our Mission

Our mission is to assess each patient’s oral and dental health individually, bring together different areas of dentistry within the same treatment plan when necessary, and provide oral and dental healthcare that is based on scientific principles, clearly explained and individually planned.
